About Me
I am Mitchell, a multidisciplinary artist exploring the interplay of light, sound, and perception to create immersive, transformative experiences. My work is deeply rooted in personal exploration, shaped by a transient upbringing that fuelled my curiosity about how we perceive and adapt to the world.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Olafur Eliasson, Yayoi Kusama, and James Turrell, I create multi-sensory installations that blur the boundaries between art and audience. Using elements like refracted light, soundscapes, and mirrored spaces, I aim to provoke introspection, spark curiosity, and foster connection.
Central to my practice is the belief that art can heal and inspire. My installations invite audiences to pause, reflect, and engage with themes of adaptability, human connection, and the journey of existence. Through my work, I hope to create spaces that resonate deeply, offering moments of wonder and transformation.
